How a house call works
Call us
Call (765) 430-6963. Tell us who the visit is for, where they live and what's bothering their feet. Family members and caregivers can call too.
We schedule a visit
We check insurance, find a day the doctor is in your area and confirm the time with you.
The doctor comes to you
Dr. Peerbhai examines and treats the patient at home or in their senior living community, then sets up follow-up visits if needed.
Foot care we provide at home
Most foot problems can be treated right in the patient's home with sterilized instruments and the supplies the doctor brings.
Diabetic Foot Care at Home
Diabetes can cause nerve damage and poor circulation in the feet, so small cuts, blisters and thick nails turn into serious problems quickly.

Common questions
Who can get a podiatry house call?
Anyone who has a hard time getting to an office: people who are homebound, use a walker or wheelchair, no longer drive, are recovering from surgery or a hospital stay, or are living with dementia. We also see residents of assisted living and senior communities.
Which areas do you travel to?
We make house calls in Lake, Porter, Newton, Jasper, White, Carroll, Tippecanoe, Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Morgan and Putnam counties in Indiana. If you're not sure whether we come to your town, call us and ask.
Does Medicare cover a podiatrist visit at home?
Medicare Part B covers doctor visits at home when the care is medically necessary, and you don't have to be homebound. Routine foot care such as trimming nails or calluses is usually covered only if you have a condition that makes it risky to do yourself, such as diabetes with nerve damage or poor circulation. Call us and we'll go over your coverage before the visit.
Can a family member or caregiver set up the visit?
Yes. Most of our visits are arranged by a son, daughter, spouse or caregiver. You're welcome to be there for the visit or join by phone.
